LIVO LOGISTICS Mexico and Italy executed a multimodal move of 5x Self-Propelled Pipe-layers Fiat Allias FP60 545 x 316 x 315cm / 32,000kg each and several containers with parts from Veracruz, Mexico via St. Petersburg, Russia to Tengiz, Kazakhstan. For the Russia – Kazakhstan part of the operations joined forces with its partner KGE Baltic to overcome big challenges due to cold and freezing weather with temperatures going below -25°C, when the engines would not start, and service maintenance had to come to the port to defrost the fuel and start the machines. All cargo successfully delivered to Tengiz oil field, Kazakhstan.
